Assistant Teachers

 

What your role as an Assistant Teacher looks like

  • Assist the lead teacher in class and help teach the class for selected segments

  • Plan and prepare appropriate teaching aids and resources

  • Prepare the classroom environment before lesson starts

  • Guide the children with handling our animals, and ensure safety and well being of both animals and children

  • Assist in day to day operations and administration duties (i.e. answer phone calls, attend to walk ins, reply emails and etc)

  • Assist in curriculum planning

  • Establish and maintain good relationships with parents and students

  • Document lessons with videos and pictures and sharing them with parents after class

  • Partake in general cleaning and upkeep of the place

  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

 

What our ideal candidate looks like

  • Possess at least a certificate in Early Childhood Education

  • Has a patient & engaging personality, and possess a natural affinity with children

  • Able to lead and guide children and nurture their love for learning

  • Able to commit to a full time position (3 weekdays and Saturday & Sunday)

  • Able to work both independently and as a team

  • Has a positive attitude & great communication skills

  • Has a good understanding of child development and pedagogy

  • Experience in a similar capacity a plus

  • Video and photo editing skills a plus

  • Comfortable with handling animals

  • Singaporeans only
